Reward for praising Allah after eating or drinking
Hadith 1843
- " إن الله ليرضى عن العبد أن يأكل الأكلة فيحمده عليها، أو يشرب الشربة فيحمده عليها ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Exalted is pleased with His servant over such a thing that he eats food and praises Him for it, or drinks water and expresses His praise and gratitude for it."
