Rights of slaughtered animals
Hadith 1813
- (إذا ذبحَ أحدُكم؛ فليُجْهِزْ) .
Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded that knives be sharpened, kept hidden from the animals, and when a person slaughters (an animal), he should do so quickly.
