Changing a thing’s name does not change its ruling
Hadith 1802
- " إن أناسا من أمتي يشربون الخمر يسمونها بغير اسمها ".
A companion of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, some people from my Ummah will drink alcohol, calling it by another name."
