There are some (specific) drinks found there, which of them may I drink and which should I avoid? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Which (drinks) are those?" I said: They are "bit‘" and "mizr." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "What are bit‘ and mizr?" I said: The nabidh (fermented drink) of honey is called "bit‘" and the nabidh of corn is called "mizr." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then, do not drink any intoxicating drink, for I have declared every intoxicant to be unlawful."
