Hadith 1788
- " حرم الله الخمر، وكل مسكر حرام ".
Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has declared wine and every intoxicating substance to be unlawful."
Hadith 1789
- " ثلاثة لا ينظر الله عز وجل إليهم يوم القيامة: العاق لوالديه والمرأة المترجلة والديوث، وثلاثة لا يدخلون الجنة: العاق لوالديه والمدمن الخمر والمنان بما أعطى ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty will not look at three types of people on the Day of Resurrection: ① the one who is disobedient to his parents, ② the woman who imitates men, and ③ the cuckold (the man who has no sense of honor or protective jealousy regarding his family). And three types of people will not enter Paradise: ① the one who is disobedient to his parents, ② the one who is habitual in drinking alcohol, and ③ the one who reminds others of his favors after giving charity."
Hadith 1790
- " نهى عن مطعمين: عن الجلوس على مائدة يشرب عليها الخمر وأن يأكل الرجل وهو منبطح على بطنه ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two kinds of eating: ① Sitting at a table where wine is being served, and ② Eating while lying on one's stomach.
Hadith 1791
- " لا يدخل الجنة عاق ولا مدمن خمر ولا مكذب بقدر ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who is disobedient to his parents, the one who habitually drinks alcohol, and the one who denies destiny will not enter Paradise."
Hadith 1792
- " لا يدخل الجنة عاق ولا منان ولا مدمن خمر ولا ولد زنية ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who is disobedient to his parents, the one who reminds others of his favors (after giving charity), the one who is habitual in drinking alcohol, and the child of adultery will not enter Paradise."
Hadith 1793
- " لا يدخل الجنة مدمن خمر ولا مؤمن بسحر ولا قاطع رحم ".
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One who persists in drinking alcohol, one who believes in magic, and one who severs the ties of kinship will not enter Paradise."
