Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If any Muslim parents lose three sons who had not reached maturity, Allah, out of His mercy, will admit those parents into Paradise. And any Muslim who spends a pair of something in the way of Allah, the gatekeepers of Paradise will hasten towards him and call him towards the blessings from their side."

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever has three sons die, and he remains patient, hoping for reward from Allah for the loss of his children, then Paradise becomes obligatory for him."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever patiently endures the death of his three sons, hoping for reward, will enter Paradise." A woman asked: "Is this (glad tidings) also for two sons?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Yes, also for two sons."
