المرض والجنائز والقبورBook of Illness, Funerals, and Graves
Even Sa’d was not spared from grave’s squeeze, nor was a child
Hadith 1706
- " إن للقبر ضغطة، فلو نجا أو سلم أحد منها لنجا سعد بن معاذ ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The grave certainly constricts once; if anyone were to be saved or remain safe from its pressure, it would have been Sa’d bin Mu’adh."
Hadith 1707
- " لو أفلت أحد من ضمة القبر، لأفلت منها هذا الصبي ".
Sayyiduna Bara’ bin ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) that a child was buried and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If anyone could be saved from the squeezing of the grave, it would have been this child.”
