Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has said: When I take away the eyesight of My servant, while he is eager for it, then I am not pleased to give him any reward other than Paradise in return for this trial, provided that he praises Me during this trial."
