Hadith 1686
- " ما اختلج عرق ولا عين إلا بذنب، وما يدفع الله عنه أكثر ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whenever a vein or an eye is harmed, it is due to some sin, but the pains that Allah, the Exalted, keeps averting (from a person) are much more.”

Hadith 1687
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no deed on any day except that the doer’s end is upon that deed. (Its explanation is that) when a believer becomes ill, the angels say to Allah Almighty: 'O our Lord! You have prevented so-and-so servant (from performing deeds).' (So what should be done about his good deeds?) Allah Almighty replies: 'Count for this servant the same deeds as he used to do (before falling ill), until he recovers or passes away.'"
