How long should funeral followers not sit?
Hadith 1662
- (إذا تَبعتُم جنازةً؛ فلا تجلسُوا حتَّى توضَعَ [في الأرض] ) .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you walk with a funeral, do not sit down until the deceased has been placed on the ground."
