Hadith 1650
- " عليكم بالإثمد عند النوم، فإنه يجلو البصر وينبت الشعر ".
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Use antimony (ithmid) kohl when you go to sleep, for it brightens the eyesight and grows (the eyelashes') hair."
Hadith 1651
- " عليكم بالإثمد فإنه منبتة للشعر، مذهبة للقذى، مصفاة للبصر ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You must use ithmid kohl regularly, it grows hair, removes particles or specks that enter the eye, and cleanses the eye."
