Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If there were to be any bad omen in anything, it would be in a wife, a horse, and a house."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is misfortune in the house, the wife, and the horse."

Sayyiduna Mukhmar bin Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "There is no bad omen, but there is goodness and blessing in three things: the wife, the horse, and the house."
