Seeking cure from the unlawful
Hadith 1622
- " من تداوى بحرام لم يجعل الله له فيه شفاء ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever treats (illness) with something unlawful, Allah the Exalted will not make a cure for him in it."
Hadith 1623
- " إن الله خلق الداء والدواء، فتداووا، ولا تتداووا بحرام ".
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Exalted has sent down both the disease and its cure, so seek treatment, but do not use anything unlawful as a remedy."
