Hadith 1604
- " إذا هاج بأحدكم الدم فليحتجم، فإن الدم إذا تبيغ بصاحبه يقتله ".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the blood of any one of you becomes agitated (i.e., when blood pressure rises), he should get cupping done, because the agitation of blood can cause a person's death."

Hadith 1605
- " إن كان في شيء مما تداوون به خير ففي الحجامة ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among the things you use for treatment, if there is any benefit, then it is in cupping."

Hadith 1606
- " إن كان في شيء من أدويتكم خير ففي شرطة محجم، أو شربة من عسل أو لذعة بنار، وما أحب أن أكتوي ".
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to visit a sick person who was wearing a head covering and said: "I will remain sitting here until you get cupped, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'If there is any good in your medicines, it is in cupping, or drinking honey, or cauterization, but I dislike cauterization.'"

Hadith 1607
- " إن فيه (يعني الحجامة) شفاء ".
Bukair reports that Asim bin Qatadah narrated to him that Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) went to visit a patient from the tribe of Muqna’ and said: “I will remain sitting here until you undergo cupping, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: ‘Indeed, there is healing in it.’”

Hadith 1608
- (إن كان في شيءٍ شفاءٌ؛ ففي شرطةِ مِحْجَمٍ، أو شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ، أو كَيّةٍ تصيبُ ألماً، وأنا أكرهُ الكيَّ ولا أحبُّه)
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If there is any cure in anything, it is in cupping, drinking honey, or cauterization, but I dislike cauterization and do not prefer it."

Hadith 1609
- " الحجامة على الريق أمثل وفيه شفاء وبركة وتزيد في العقل وفي الحفظ، فاحتجموا على بركة الله يوم الخميس، واجتنبوا الحجامة يوم الأربعاء والجمعة والسبت ويوم الأحد تحريا، واحتجموا يوم الاثنين والثلاثاء، فإنه اليوم الذي عافى الله فيه أيوب من البلاء وضربه بالبلاء يوم الأربعاء، فإنه لا يبدو جذام ولا برص إلا يوم الأربعاء أو ليلة الأربعاء ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Nafi‘! There is heat in my blood, so find a cupping practitioner for me. Try to find one who is gentle and not a child. I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Cupping in the forenoon is best; in it is healing and blessing, and it increases intellect and memory. Get cupped in the name of Allah on Thursday. Avoid getting cupped on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Get cupped on Monday and Tuesday, for Allah the Exalted cured Ayub (peace be upon him) of his illness on that day, and on Wednesday He afflicted him with trial. Leprosy and leukoderma also appear only on Wednesday or its night."

Hadith 1609M
- " من احتجم لسبع عشرة وتسع عشرة وإحدى وعشرين كان شفاء من كل داء ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever gets cupped on the seventeenth, nineteenth, and twenty-first (of the lunar month), it will be a cure for every disease."

Hadith 1610
- " كان يحتجم على الأخدعين والكاهل وكان يحتجم لسبع عشرة وتسع عشرة وإحدى وعشرين ".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to have cupping done on the two hidden veins on both sides of the neck and the upper part of the back, and he used to have cupping done on the seventeenth, nineteenth, and twenty-first dates (of the lunar month).

Hadith 1611
- " كان يحتجم في رأسه، ويسميه أم مغيث ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to have cupping done on his head and called it Umm Mugheeth.

- " خير ما تداويتم به الحجامة ".
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best thing with which you treat yourselves is cupping."

Hadith 1613
- " خير ما تداويتم به الحجامة والقسط البحري، ولا تعذبوا صبيانكم بالغمز ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best things with which you treat yourselves are cupping and Indian costus. Do not cause pain to your children by forcing them to swallow medicine."

- " خير يوم تحتجمون فيه سبع عشرة وتسع عشرة وإحدى وعشرين، وما مررت بملأ من الملائكة ليلة أسري بي إلا قالوا: عليك بالحجامة يا محمد! ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best days on which you should get cupping done are the seventeenth, nineteenth, and twenty-first (of the lunar month). On the night of Mi'raj, whichever group of angels I passed by, they all said: O Muhammad! Make sure to get cupping done."
