Illegitimate child is not at fault
Hadith 1551
- " ليس على ولد الزنا من وزر أبويه شيء * (ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى) * (¬1) ".
Narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The child born out of adultery will not bear any burden of the sins of his parents. (The command of Allah, the Exalted, is:) «وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِّزْرَ اُخْرٰى» And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another on the Day of Resurrection." (Surah Fatir: 18)
