No divorce before marriage
Hadith 1541
- " ليس على رجل طلاق فيما لا يملك ولا عتاق فيما لا يملك ولا بيع فيما لا يملك ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man who does not own a woman cannot divorce her. A man who does not own a slave cannot sell him."
