Allah’s sense of honor
Hadith 1524
- (إن الله يغار، وإنّ المؤمن يغارُ، وغيرةُ الله: أن يأتي المؤمن ما حرم عليه) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah is also possessive (has a sense of honor), and the believer is also possessive. Allah's possessiveness is that the believer commits those acts which He has forbidden."
