Children and their wealth are parents’ earnings
Hadith 1522
- " أما علمت أنك ومالك من كسب أبيك؟! ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man sought help from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) against his father and said: "He has taken my wealth." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you not know that you and your wealth are (both) the earnings of your father?"
Hadith 1523
- " إن أولادكم هبة الله لكم * (يهب لمن يشاء إناثا ويهب لمن يشاء الذكور) * (¬1) ، فهم وأموالهم لكم إذا احتجتم إليها ".
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah has gifted you your children, (He grants daughters to whom He wills and He grants sons to whom He wills) (__QUR_N__: Surah Ash-Shura: 49). They and their wealth are for you, whenever you are in need."
