Do not visit wives at night after returning from travel
Hadith 1497
- (إذا قدم أحدكم ليلاً؛ فلا يأتينَّ أهلَه طُرُوقاً، حتى تستحدَّ المُغِيبَةُ، وتمتشط الشَّعِثَة) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you returns at night (from a journey, etc.), he should not go to his wife immediately until she has used a razor and combed the disheveled hair."
