Protecting children at nightfall
Hadith 1490
- " احبسوا صبيانكم حتى تذهب فوعة العشاء، فإنها ساعة تخترق فيها الشياطين ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(When night begins) keep your children close to you until the early part of the night passes, for at that hour the devils spread out."
Hadith 1491
- " إذا غربت الشمس فكفوا صبيانكم، فإنها ساعة ينتشر فيها الشياطين ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the sun sets, keep your children close (to yourselves), for at that time the devils are spreading out."
