Most beloved names to Allah
Hadith 1477
- " أحب الأسماء إلى الله عبد الله وعبد الرحمن والحارث ".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “(Three) names are the most beloved to Allah Almighty: Abdullah, Abdur-Rahman, and Harith.”
Hadith 1478
- " خير الأسماء عبد الله وعبد الرحمن وأصدق الأسماء همام وحارث وشر الأسماء حرب ومرة ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdulwahab bin Bakht (may Allah be pleased with him), the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abdullah and Abdur Rahman are the best names, and Hammam and Harith are the truest names, while the worst names are Harb and Murrah."
