Hadith 1453
- (يا حُمَيراءُ! أتحبِّينَ أن تنظُرِي إليهم؟! يعني: إلى لعِبِ الحبشةِ ورقصِهم في المسجدِ) .
The wife of the Messenger, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates: The Abyssinians were playing in the mosque. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Humaira! Do you want to watch them (playing)?" I said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood at the door, I came and placed my chin on his shoulder and supported my face on his cheeks (and stood like that). Those people kept repeating this phrase that day: "«ابا القاسم طيبا»" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me: "Is it enough now?" I said: O Messenger of Allah, do not hurry. He remained standing, and (after a while) again asked: "Is it enough now?" I said: O Messenger of Allah, do not hurry. In fact, I did not like to look at those people. I only wanted women to know what status I have with you and what status you have with me.
