Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) says: My sister made a vow that she would walk barefoot and bareheaded towards the Ka'bah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her and said: "What is the matter with her?" The people said: She has made a vow that she will walk barefoot and bareheaded towards the Ka'bah. He said: "Order her to ride, to cover herself with a cloak, to perform Hajj, and to slaughter a sacrifice."
