Abandoning evil vows and their expiation
Hadith 1420
- " النذر نذران، فما كان لله فكفارته الوفاء، وما كان للشيطان فلا وفاء فيه وعليه كفارة يمين ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two types of vows. __QUR_N__ One vow is for Allah, its expiation is to fulfill it, and one vow is for Satan, it should not be fulfilled, but the expiation of an oath will be due upon it."
