Hadith 1328
- " لا، ولكن نهيت عن صوتين أحمقين فاجرين: صوت عند مصيبة، خمش وجوه، وشق جيوب، ورنة شيطان ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took the hand of Abdur Rahman bin Awf and proceeded towards his son Ibrahim. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw that he was at the point of death, he (peace and blessings be upon him) picked him up, placed him in his lap, and began to weep. Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: Are you weeping, did you not forbid weeping? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "No, I have only forbidden two evil and wicked voices: __QUR_N__ raising the voice at the time of calamity, scratching the face, tearing the collar, and ② the ringing (or loud scream) of Satan."
