Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever swears an oath to sever ties of kinship or to do an inappropriate act, then (in the Shariah) fulfilling such an oath is that it should not be fulfilled."
