Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Rifa’ah bin Shaddad Qutbani says: If I had not heard such-and-such hadith from Amr bin Humaq Khuzai, I would have separated Mukhtar’s head from his body. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Whoever grants safety to a person regarding his life and then kills him, he will come on the Day of Resurrection holding the banner of treachery.”
