Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), "Will we meet and see each other after death?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(After death) the soul is in the form of a bird that keeps eating from the trees, until the Day of Resurrection comes and every soul is returned to its body."
