Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever supports a polytheist and stays with him, he will be like him."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “(Allah and His Messenger) are free from responsibility for that man who resides among the polytheists in their lands.”
