Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I grab you by your waists to save you from the Fire (pulling you back) and I say: Save yourselves from Hell, save yourselves from transgressing the limits. When I pass away, I will be your predecessor and I will meet you at the Pond. Whoever reaches there will be successful. Some people will reach there but will be pushed to the left side. I will say: O my Lord! These are my followers. It will be said: You do not know what innovations they promoted, they turned back on their heels and became apostates."
