Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Thalabah bin Hakam (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The enemy’s goats fell into our hands, we seized them and put our pots on the fire. When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by the pots, he ordered (them to be poured out), so they were poured out. Then he said: “Looting is not permissible.”
