Silsilah Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O people! You recite this verse: «يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ» "O you who believe! Take care of your own selves. If you follow the right guidance, no harm can come to you from those who are in error." (5-Al-Ma'idah:105) And I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When people see an oppressor and do not stop him from his oppression, it is likely that Allah will inflict a general punishment upon them all."
