Hadith 1190
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "(On the Day of Resurrection) a man will come holding the hand of another man and will say: O my Lord, this one killed me. Allah Almighty will ask: Why did you kill him? He will say: For Your greatness. Allah Almighty will say: Indeed, greatness is only for Me. Another man will come holding the hand of another man and will say: He killed me. Allah Almighty will ask: Why did you kill him? He will say: For the greatness of so-and-so. Allah Almighty will say: This greatness is not the right of so-and-so, so he will also bear the burden of his sin."
