Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to ask for something. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) borrowed half a wasq for him and gave it to him. When the (creditor) man came to collect his debt, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him a full wasq instead of half a wasq and said: "Half a wasq is to repay your debt, and the other half is a gift from me to you."
