Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Hadra Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to seek help regarding the dowry for my wife. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How much dowry did you give her?" I said: Two hundred dirhams. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you had filled the valley of Bathan with pebbles, you would not have given more."
