Hadith 1154
- " إن الله عز وجل يبغض البليغ من الرجال، الذي يتخلل بلسانه تخلل الباقرة بلسانها ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah strongly dislikes among people the one who is eloquent in speech, who (opens his mouth wide and speaks with affectation and artificiality) repeatedly moves his tongue like a cow chews cud."

Hadith 1155
- " سيكون قوم يأكلون بألسنتهم، كما تأكل البقرة من الأرض ".
‘Umar bin Sa‘d says: I needed something from my father, and Abu Hayyan narrated from Majma‘: ‘Umar bin Sa‘d had some need from his father, but before expressing his need (as a prelude), he spoke in such a way as common people do to reach their needs. But Sa‘d was not paying any attention to his son’s words. When the son finished speaking, the father said: Son! Have you completed your speech? He said: Yes. The father said: After hearing your words (I have realized that) you are neither far from your need nor is there anyone who desires more good for you than I do. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Soon there will arise people who will consume with their tongues as cattle graze on lush, green land.
