Hadith 1141
- " ما أصاب الحجام فأعلفه الناضح ".
Sayyiduna Ubayd bin Rifa’ah bin Rafi’ bin Khadij says: When my grandfather passed away, he left behind a slave woman, a camel, a slave, a barber, and some land. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (us from taking) the earnings of the slave woman. Imam Shu’bah says: (It was forbidden) due to the risk of immorality. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) further said: “Make the barber’s earnings fodder for the camels.” And regarding the land, he said: “Either cultivate it yourself or leave it as it is.”
