Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has made the whole world insignificant, and the part of the world that now remains is even more insignificant among the insignificant. (Compared to the world that has passed, the part that remains) its example is like a pool of water situated in the shade, whose pure water has been drunk and only the turbid water remains."
