Hadith 1123
- " ما أصاب الحجام فأعلفه الناضح ".
Abayah bin Rifa’ah bin Rafi’ bin Khadij says: When my grandfather passed away, leaving behind a slave woman, a camel, a slave, a barber, and some land, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the earnings from the slave woman. Imam Shu’bah says: It was forbidden due to the risk of immorality. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) further said: “Make the barber’s earnings fodder for the camels.” And regarding the land, he said: “Cultivate it yourself or leave it as it is.”
Hadith 1124

Haram bin Sa'd bin Muhaisah narrates that Muhaisah asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the earnings of his barbers. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade him from it. He kept asking the same question repeatedly, until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(Then do this:) feed their earnings to your camels or give it to your slaves to eat."
