Virtue of gentleness in transactions
Hadith 1114
- " أدخل الله عز وجل الجنة رجلا كان سهلا مشتريا وبائعا وقاضيا ومقتضيا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him), he states that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Exalted, admitted a man into Paradise because he was gentle in buying and selling, and in paying and collecting debts."
Hadith 1115
- " إن الله يحب سمح البيع، سمح الشراء، سمح القضاء ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah loves the servant who is gentle when selling, easy when buying, and lenient in the repayment (of debts and the like)."
