Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The foundation of the uprightness (and correctness) of the first people of this Ummah was religiosity, (devotion in worship), and certainty, and the destruction of the last people will be due to miserliness and (long) hopes."
