Silsilah Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of wine, the earnings of a prostitute, and the price of a dog, and said: "When someone comes to you with the price of a dog, fill his hands with dust."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Three (things) are forbidden: the earnings of the cupper, the earnings of a prostitute woman, and the price of a dog, except for a hunting dog."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The price of alcohol is forbidden, the earnings of a prostitute are forbidden, the price of a dog is forbidden, the drum is forbidden, and if the owner of a dog comes to you to take its price, then fill his hands with dust. Alcohol, gambling, and every intoxicating thing are also forbidden."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The price of a dog is impure, the earnings of a prostitute are impure, and the earnings of a cupper are impure."
