Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her): "Raise goats, for indeed there is blessing in them."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Camels are a source of honor for their owners, and goats are a source of blessing, and goodness and virtue have been attached to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection.”
