Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He has succeeded who accepted Islam, was provided with sustenance according to his need, and Allah granted him the ability to be content with what He has given him."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sustenance according to necessity is the best."
