Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No woman should perform Hajj without a mahram." A man said: O Messenger of Allah! My name has been registered for such-and-such expedition, while my wife is about to depart for Hajj. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go back and perform Hajj with her."
