Hadith 1013
- " ارفعوا عن بطن محسر، وعليكم بمثل حصى الخذف ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pass quickly through the valley of Muhassir and collect pebbles the size of chickpeas or beans (etc.)."
Hadith 1014
- " عليكم بحصى الخذف الذي ترمى به الجمرة ".
Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that when the people returned on the evening of Arafah and the morning of Muzdalifah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: "Adopt calmness." At that time, he himself was restraining his she-camel (from moving fast), until he entered Mina and descended in the valley of Muhassir. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Collect pebbles (the size of chickpeas or beans) with which the Jamrah is to be pelted."
Hadith 1015
- " ارموا الجمرة بمثل حصى الخذف ".
The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Throw pebbles at the Jamrah that are the size of chickpeas or beans, etc." This hadith is narrated from a group of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), among whom are Sayyiduna Sinan bin Sanah, Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Mu'adh Taymi, Sayyiduna Umm Sulaiman bin Amr bin Ahwas, Sayyiduna Uthman bin Ubaid, and Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with them).
