How to pass through places of punished nations
Hadith 1012
- " لا تدخلوا على هؤلاء القوم المعذبين إلا أن تكونوا باكين، فإن لم تكونوا باكين فلا تدخلوا عليهم أن يصيبكم ما أصابهم ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the stone dwellings, he said: "Enter the houses where the previous nations were punished while weeping. If you cannot weep, then do not enter them, lest you be afflicted with the same punishment." Then he covered himself with his cloak while sitting on his mount.
