Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! By Allah, I have not (yet) performed Tawaf." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the Fajr prayer is about to be performed, then ride your camel and perform Tawaf behind the people."

The wife of the Messenger, Lady Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in Makkah, and he was thinking of departing from there, while I had not performed the Tawaf. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding me: "When the Fajr prayer is established and the people are performing the prayer, you should mount your camel and perform the Tawaf." She did so, but did not perform the prayer, until she had left (Makkah).
