Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Quraysh said: "The fever of Yathrib has weakened Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions." When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to Makkah in the year of 'Umrah, he said to his companions: "(While performing the Tawaf of the House of Allah) perform Ramal so that the polytheists may realize your strength." When the companions performed Ramal, the Quraysh said: "(The fever of) Yathrib could not weaken them."
