Hadith 984
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was ill, so I went to him. I saw that he wanted to sit up, and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was swaying due to drowsiness. I said: O Messenger of Allah! I think that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) stayed awake with you during the night, so should I not come close to you (to support you)? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ali is more deserving of this service than you." So Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came close to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and supported him. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever's life ends in such a state that he had been feeding a poor person hoping for reward from Allah, he will enter Paradise. Whoever's life ends in such a state that he had been fasting hoping for reward from Allah, he will enter Paradise. And whoever's end comes in such a state that he had been reciting «لا اله الا الله» hoping for reward from Allah, he too will enter Paradise."
